Diesel Particulate Filter, or DPF, traps soot and tiny particles from the exhaust before they leave the tailpipe. We fit it in the exhaust path so when the engine burns diesel, smoke cleans up first. Over time, soot builds up, so we run regeneration cycles or clean it to burn off ash. A full DPF chokes the engine and hurts fuel economy. We keep an eye on back pressure and clean it as needed. Cleaner exhaust, greener work.
