Adapter or shroud works like the base for our bucket teeth. We slide it onto the lip of the bucket and secure it, so the teeth have a solid seat to pin or bolt onto. Made of thick steel, it protects the bucket edge from wear and tear, like giving it a metal jacket. When we upgrade teeth, we fit them into the adapter snugly. It’s simple, but without it, our teeth would wobble or wear out fast.
